According to The Telegraph, Jose Mourinho has caved in to Everton’s demands and is willing to part with a sum of £34m for Everton defender, John Stones.
Stones has been linked with a move to Chelsea all summer and has been heavily tipped to replace club captain John Terry in the long run.
The modern, ball playing centre back has attracted a lot of attention last season due to his consistent displays at the back. Although lacking in experience, it is believed that Stones is ready to take the next step in his career and play in the Champions League.
In terms of talent, there is little doubt that Stones is one of the best 21 year old centre backs in the world and can grown into a world class centre back and be the mainstay of Chelsea’s defence for years to come.
Chelsea had two bids rejected for the England defender earlier this month and are now willing to wrap up the deal soon with a mega bid of £34m (Everton’s asking price).
Although it seems like a big price to pay at the moment, Stones would be an outstanding future investment. Furthermore, Mourinho confirmed that the state of the market means that big clubs are having to pay a premium for English talent.
It seems Chelsea and Mourinho are really desperate to get their man and with Stones interested in a move, it is a matter of time before the young defender swaps Everton’s blue with that of Chelsea.
Yes he is a good player get him,But Cfc should not try to loose pedro to manu is going to be painful to fans bcos no one as good as a winger except D hero Hazard in that right wing.
Secondly,Cfc should not sell salah to any amount to any club bcos d guy is a futuristic player.
Lastly,Cfc can sell cuadrado to juventus and replace him with pedro,Mikel for Witsel and Remmy for Austin from Qpr simple! Thank
Note:Cfc shouldn’t make mistakes as last season by sold kevin debryn while regreting now.
Everton are looking to buy a centre half having lost Distin and Alcaraz they would be crazy to sell Stones. The lad is happy at Everton
He can surely remember what happened to Jack Rodwell and Joleon Lescott England Internationals who left Everton for the money and the glamour. Where are they now ?
Stay put lad and achieve your dreams at Goodison you don’t want to spend next season on Chelsea’s 5 mile bench and lose your England place. You are in good company where you are with Jagielka Baines Barkley and Cleverley
Just remember Everton are a big club, with more trophies than Chelsea or Man City
