The Chilean powerhouse has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford. The Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal will officially take charge on Wednesday after stepping down from the post of Netherlands boss after the completion of World Cup campaign.
According to reputed journalist Alfredo Pedulla, United are willing to pay the transfer fee for Vidal’s signature. The Serie A winning midfielder is relaxed over his future and now wants to focus on his holiday, which he is enjoying at the moment.
“I’m not thinking of where I’m going to go, I want to take advantage of my holidays with the people I love. Right now I’m thinking of other things. Afterwards, when I arrive in Italy, I’ll see,” Vidal told, as reported by The Telegraph.
“I’m already at a great team, Juventus, so I will be just as calm if the Manchester United option falls through.”
The Telegraph reports that United have cooled their interest as Juventus’ £35m asking price has put them off. Vidal has three years left on his contract with the Old Lady and the Premier League club are worried the midfielder’s knee injury could be another issue in bringing him to Old Trafford.
The Chilean international went under the knife in May to undergo a surgery on his right knee. He was fit enough to feature for his national side for the World Cup as they were knocked out in the last 16 of the tournament.
Juventus their manager Antonio Conte has left the Serie A winners on Tuesday.The departure of the 44-year-old could see United receive a boost in signing Vidal in the ongoing summer transfer window.
