Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are interested in signing the Lyon defender Joachim Andersen who was on loan at Fulham last season.
The 25-year-old Danish international made quite an impression with the London club in the Premier League and his performances seem to have caught the attention of the top clubs.
According to Footmercato, the French outfit are looking to sell the center back for a fee of around €30 million (£25.8m).
Tottenham defenders Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez have been linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks and the Londoners will have to bring in quality reinforcements.
Andersen is well settled in the Premier League and he could make an immediate impact at Spurs if he ends up joining them.
Similarly, Manchester United need to find a quality partner for Harry Maguire and they have been linked with the likes of Raphael Varane as well.
Andersen will be a cheaper alternative to the French international.
Both clubs had the resources to pay the reported €30 million asking price and the player is likely to be tempted if they come forward with a concrete offer.
United, in particular, can offer him Champions League football and a move to Old Trafford would be a massive step up for the player.
Apart from being an excellent defender, Andersen is a superb passer from the back and both clubs could use someone like him. His leadership qualities earned him the armband at Fulham, which could be useful for Spurs and Manchester United.
