Crystal Palace have stepped up their interest in Liverpool forward Danny Ings according to a report published by The Guardian.
The 26-year-old Ings is looking to leave Anfield this summer and relaunch his career elsewhere.
With Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah considered to be three of the deadliest attackers in Europe, the former Burnley man has virtually no chance of regular first team action should he remain with the Reds.
Ings also is not part of Liverpool’s pre-season tour to the US as he is doing double training sessions at Melwood whilst also trying to negotiate a move away from the club.
Ings could be a good addition to the Palace side.
The Eagles need reinforcements and this was shown by the fact that they flirted with relegation for much of last season.
With Wilfried Zaha also linked with a move away from Selhurst Park, Ings could provide a goal threat which the side will need if they want to once against avoid the drop next season.
