Zlatan and Mourinho share a great friendship and mutual respect for each other. Both have publicly stated their desire to work together again in future.

Manchester United do need a striker next season, especially with how Wayne Rooney has regressed. Anthony Martial’s talent is beyond doubt, but he is still a very young player and is not ready to carry his team’s attack all by himself over the course of a season.
Zlatan not only adds tremendous quality to the Manchester United front line, he will also add some much-needed experience. The 34-year-old striker has played in Holland, Spain, Italy and France throughout his career and has scored hundreds of goals.
Despite his age and wage demands, there is no doubt that Zlatan would be a very good addition to any side in the Premier League. If United do manage to sign him this summer, it could well be another Van Persie-esque signing for them.
