The end of the Premier League transfer window saw a hurried move by the Dutch play-maker Rafael van der Vaart from Real Madrid to Tottenham. A lot has been said about the pros and cons of this move for both the club and the player but a lot of people have forgotten what you actually get when you buy VDV.
Rafael is a good player and he can make a lot of difference when he’s on the pitch. Frankly, I disagree with that. But I highly doubt you can get anything like the VDV-package for £8 million.
For those who don’t know and for those who have forgotten, Rafael is married to Sylvie van der Vaart. And you can compare Sylvie with any other WAG and she will be at par, if not standout, with all of them.
