According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United received two offers for Mexican striker, Javier Hernandez. West Ham and Bayern Leverkusen were interested in the player.
Earlier it was reported that Louis Van Gaal informed the player that he is free to leave this summer and Hernandez was free to speak to both clubs and make his move before Tuesday.
West Ham offered 10 million pounds for the Manchester United player and Leverkusen had offered 12 million pounds, according to the report.
The Mexican striker decided to choose Leverkusen as opposed to a Premier League stay with West Ham.
Leverkusen are a more attractive proposition, considering their chances of playing in Europe every season.
The Mexican will now be hoping to kick-start his stagnating career in the Bundesliga. Chicharito was on loan at Real Madrid last season and scored 7 goals for the Los Blancos.
The player failed to impress Van Gaal upon his return and his penalty miss against Brugge was the final nail in the coffin.
