Manchester United took just 13 minutes to open the scoring in Louis van Gaal’s first game in charge as the Red Devils’ new manager against LA Galaxy.
Juan Mata’s brilliant tackle, followed by a side touch saw England international Danny Welbeck smash the ball to the right post, before getting his name on the score sheet. The fixture also saw the Dutchman include two summer signings Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw in the starting XI.
