With all the domestic campaigns done and dusted, it is time for every club to focus on the transfer market and improve their chances of doing well next season.

Although the transfer window officially opens on the 1st of July, almost every club has started working on their deals and new signings are being confirmed every day. Here at Soccerlens, in our daily transfer news roundup column, we will bring you some of the latest stories from the last 24 hours.

Raiola hints at Serie A return for Ibrahimovic

Manchester United target Zlatan Ibrahimovic is yet to confirm where he will play his football next season.

The Swedish international has confirmed that he will not renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and will leave France. However, he has not revealed his new destination yet.

The player has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer due to his relationship with the current Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho.

At one point it seemed like he is destined to end up at Manchester, but now his agent has provided an interesting twist in the saga by hinting that the player could end up in Italy as well.

His former club AC Milan are very interested in his services as well.

Raiola said: “He has told me where he wants to go. Italy? We are on the market and hope is always last to die. We will see.”

According to latest reports, Manchester United are still leading the chase for the Swedish forward and Mourinho is working very hard to complete the transfer.

Liverpool ready to sell Joe Allen to Swansea

Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen has had a fantastic Euro campaign so far.

However, it is evidently not enough to convince Jurgen Klopp. According to latest reports, the Reds are willing to let him leave this summer.

The Welsh midfielder joined Liverpool from Swansea under Brendan Rodgers and has been in and out of the side due to injuries. When fit, Allen has impressed with the Reds and has proven himself as a very good squad player.

With just 12 months left on his current deal, Liverpool are now prepared to get rid of him as they have no plans to renew his contract.

Swansea are determined to sign their former player and have been quoted a fee of 10 million pounds.

Although he has failed to make the desire impact since joining Liverpool, Allen is a very good squad player and offers something none of the other Reds midfielders can. It would be very surprising if Liverpool agreed to sell him for a bargain price.

Ryan Giggs set for Manchester United exit

Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs is set to leave the club imminently.

He will be replaced by the long term Jose Mourinho assistant Rui Faria.

The Welshman is not wanted as the club’s assistant manager by Mourinho and will leave for more coaching experience.

Giggs has been linked with the Nottingham Forest job.

Arsenal negotiating new contract with Hector Bellerin

Finally, Arsenal are looking to tie down their best young player Hector Bellerin to a new long term deal at the club.

The Spanish right back has been a revelation over the last 12 months and is a target for the likes of PSG and Barcelona.

Arsenal are not prepared to risk his future at the club and have opened talks with his agent regarding a new deal.

The deal should be finalised once the Euros are over.
