TheRacingJosh Cheltenham Tips – Day Four

1.30 Triumph Hurdle – VAUBAN @ 13/8 with BetUK

Impressed when winning the Spring Juvenille Hurdle last time out at the Dublin Racing Festival and looks another potential Willie Mullins superstar in the making.

2.10 County Hurdle – STATE MAN @ 7/2 with BetUK

Lightly-raced Willie Mullins runner that went into many a notebook for this race after an easy 12 length win at Limerick last time out. With just three career runs should have a lot more to offer.

2.50 Albert Bartlett Nov Hurdle – BARDENSTOWN LAD (E/W) @ 15/1 with BetUK

Has won his last two in good fashion, including two runs ago here at Cheltenham at their October Meeting. Stays this trip well and should be spot on for this after a run at the start of February at Musselburgh. Looks to have a live E/W chance.

3.30 Cheltenham Gold Cup – GALVIN @ 4/1 with BetUK

Needs little introduction and is already a Festival winner – having taken the NH Chase here last season. Stays really well and has improved since going up into graded company. Won the Savills Chase last time at the end of Dec and will be fresh and ready to run from a 2 1/2 month break. Davy Russell riding is the icing on the cake.

4.10 St James’s Hunters’ Chase – BOB AND CO (E/W) with BetUK

Unseated in this race 12 months ago, when going well at the time. Can go well again for the Paul Nicholls yard, who have a good recent record in the race.

4.50 Mares’ Chase – CONCERTISTA @ 7/2 with BetUK

Having her fourth run at the festival and is a past winner of the Mares’ Hurdle. Is yet to finish out of the first two here and has made an unbeaten switch to fences this season (2-from-2). Looks the value against the first two in the betting.

5.30 Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle – HOLLOW GAMES @ 11/2 with BetUK

Ran well behind some nice sorts this season and comes here reprensenting the Gordon Elliott yard that have a top record in this final Festival race – have won it twice in the last 5 years.
