Soccerlens Podcast – The State of Scottish Football

On the second episode of the Soccerlens Podcast, Stephen Darwin is joined by the Guardian’s Scottish Football Correspondent Ewan Murray as we take a closer look at all the prevalent issues currently at the forefront of the beautiful game in Scotland.

In particular we look at the SPL’s proposal to create a new SPL2 division and whether it’s implementation will be revolutionary or just simply the Scottish First Division with a somewhat unimaginative new name.

We also talk about the prospects for the future of Scottish football, player movement (and the considerable lack of it) in and out of the country, the Team GB debate and whether Scotland are on the road to South Africa 2010.
