Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has added seven new faces at Ibrox this summer, but it seems the Gers are looking for more additions.

According to reports from The Sun (July 5 liveblog), Rangers are among the clubs that are monitoring Barnet’s teenage defender Dwight Pascal.

The report claims that Queens Park Rangers and Reading are also being credited with interest in the 17-year-old.

The exciting right back is out of contract this summer and as a result it has generated attention among top clubs. The interested parties would only have to pay training compensation.

He made his debut for the Bees 18 months ago, when he was just 15. He has played only three times for them, but his potential has caught the attention of heavyweight clubs.

Barnet want him to renew his deal, but the lure of moving to one of the biggest clubs in the UK, or playing in the Championships could prove difficult to turn down.

Rangers have been very busy in the summer transfer window with new manager Steven Gerrard looking to sculpt the squad to his own taste.
