Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest on Isco and Jesus Vallejo

Spain midfielder Isco joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2013 with a lot of hope and promise. He was seen as the ‘next big thing’ in Spain and many thought he would reach the world-class level at Madrid.

However, the former Malaga midfielder has been in and out of Los Blanco’s first team and has never really flourished during his three years stay at the Bernabeu.

Last season, the 24-year-old made 31 appearances for Madrid in La Liga, out of which he started in 21 games. He scored three goals and managed seven assists in the league but never really made a strong impact under Zinedine Zidane.

According to reports from Marca, Real Madrid and Isco will discuss the playmaker’s future during the club’s pre-season tour of Canada and the USA.

Madrid are expecting to make signings this summer and possibly the European champions will look to add a quality attacking midfielder to their ranks. If Madrid do sign another top midfielder they may look to sell Isco to balance the book.

Isco personally wants to stay even though he has offers from elsewhere. Premier League giants Arsenal are reportedly thought to be his long-term admirers. Isco has been frequently linked with a £35m move to the Gunners although Sky Sports journalist and Spanish football expert Guillem Balague believes the Spaniard has no chance of moving to North London this summer.

Real Madrid defender set to join Frankfurt

German club Eintracht Frankfurt are all set to sign Real Madrid starlet Jesus Vallejo on a season-long loan according to reports from AS.

Vallejo, 19, joined Madrid last July and was immediately loaned back to his former club Real Zaragoza. The second division team wants to have him back for the 2016/17 season but Madrid have other ideas.

Los Blancos want the youngster to gain top-flight experience and have arranged a move to Eintracht Frankfurt instead in the Bundesliga.
