Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is a target for the French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaving the club in the summer, Blanc is looking to sign another top quality striker and it seems the Liverpool star is interesting PSG at the moment.
According to the English media, PSG have sent a delegation to London to watch the player. Sturridge will be in action when England take on Holland in an international friendly. The report also states that PSG are lining up a 45 million pound move for him.
Sturridge has been linked with a move away from Liverpool this summer. There have been rumours that he is open to a transfer following severe criticisms regarding his injury.
The former Chelsea man has been a massive hit at Anfield since he joined the club back in 2013. Despite his injuries, he has been one of Liverpool’s best players and has the best goals to games ratio in the history of the club.
Sturridge has spent most of this season out injured and was criticised by the fans on social media.
It will be interesting to see if the move develops and if Sturridge is willing to play in Ligue 1 next season. But there is no doubt that 45 million pounds is a lot of money for an injury prone striker and if Klopp can replace him properly, it will be a good deal for the selling club.
