The Premier League juggernaut continues apace on Boxing Day with some eye-catching matches taking place at both ends of the table.

The standout game is undoubtedly at the King Power Stadium as Leicester City go head-to-head with table-topping Liverpool.

The Foxes head into the game in second place, 10 points behind the title favourites having played a game more.

Leicester are priced at 13/5 to beat Liverpool and those generous odds may tempt many punters to use this £20 Risk Free Bet from Paddy Power to back them to win the game.

A Liverpool victory would leave the title race looking like a foregone conclusion, but three points for the home side would just about keep them in the race.

Elsewhere on Thursday, Chelsea will bid to strengthen their grip on a top four place when they welcome Southampton to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues’ impressive 2-0 victory at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday moved them four points ahead of Sheffield United and they will be eager to follow up back on home soil.

Saints moved out of the bottom three with a 3-1 victory at Aston Villa over the weekend but they remain heavily embroiled in the relegation battle.

Spurs will aim to regain the winning thread as they host Brighton & Hove Albion in the lunchtime game on Boxing Day.

Jose Mourinho’s side had been in good form prior to the Chelsea match and will be keen to bounce back against the Seagulls.

Brighton will be out to make things difficult for Spurs after their 1-0 home defeat against Sheffield United on Saturday left them five points above the drop zone.

The Blades look a good bet to extend their winning run to four matches as they host Watford at Bramall Lane.

Chris Wilder’s side have exceeded expectations this season and will be confident of defeating the league’s bottom team.

Manchester United host Newcastle United aiming to put the disappointment of Sunday’s defeat at Watford firmly behind them.

The result left the Red Devils seven points adrift of the top four and they can ill-afford another poor performance on Boxing Day.

Everton look banker material to start Carlo Ancelotti’s reign with a victory as they welcome Burnley to Goodison Park.

The Toffees have been steadily improving since Marco Silva’s sacking and should have enough about them to see off Burnley.

Arsenal will also be aiming to provide their new manager with a winning start as they travel to the south coast to face Bournemouth.

However, Mikel Arteta has a major job on his hands with the Gunners and he may have to settle for a point on his managerial debut.

The Aston Villa versus Norwich City and Crystal Palace versus West Ham United games both look tight contests and will appeal to punters looking for draw bets.

There is one game on Friday as reigning champions Manchester City travel to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.

City were impressive against Leicester over the weekend and are fancied to grab a narrow victory against Nuno’s side.
