Tottenham Hotspur get back to Premier League action as they travel to Wales to take on the newly promoted Cardiff City this Sunday afternoon.
Spurs are heading into this game on the back of a convincing 3-0 victory over Tromso in the opening game of the Europa League group stages on Thursday.
In the last match, Mousa Dembele, Danny Rose and Younes Kaboul all went down on the pitch but manager Andre Villas-Boas confirmed that all of them would be available for selection for this game.
In case, Rose fails to make it to the starting eleven, Jan Vertonghen will be expected to take that position, leaving Dawson and Kaboul to fill the centre-back role. Vlad Chiriches could make his debut too after receiving his work-permit.
Dembele is fit for the tie and the Belgian should play in the central midfield alongside Paulinho. The real headache lies in the selection of attacking midfielders, with Spurs boasting an avalanche of star-dust in that department. Christian Eriksen has made a dream start to his new career and he should play in the role.
Sigurdsson was impressive against Norwich and he would be expected to retain his place on the left hand side while youngster Townsend could get another chance to impress his manager. Jermain Defoe scored twice against Tromso but Villas-Boas in all probability will ask Roberto Soldado to lead the attack upfront.
