Manchester United will take on Hull City on Boxing Day at the KC Stadium where David Moyes will be looking for nothing less than full three points and continue their march towards top four.
After a stuttering start to the season, the Red Devils seem to have found some good form and are on a four-game winning run in all competitions. They are six points off the Champions League places and Moyes will be hoping to cut the gap further.
Team News
Manchester United will still be without striker Robin van Persie and midfielder Michael Carrick through injuries. Danny Welbeck was forced off early in the second half with a knee injury in the last game and the England striker is doubtful for this tie.
Moyes also revealed that skipper Nemanja Vidic is fine after suffering from a bad throat and could be ready to return. So, how will the Red Devils shape up?
Defence: Phil Jones is expected to partner Jonny Evans, should Vidic remains absent for this tie as well. Rafael and Evra will take up the right and left back roles respectively.
Midfield: Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out for six weeks with a wrist problem, so expect veteran Ryan Giggs to partner Tom Cleverley at the centre of midfield.
Forward: Ashley Young scored after coming off the bench in the last match; however, expect Moyes to go with either Shinji Kagawa or in-form Adnan Januzaj here.
Prediction: 0-2; Man Utd have won their last 4 matches against Hull in all competitions and expect them to make it five on Thursday.
