Manchester United will take on Fulham at the Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, looking to bounce back in the league, after their 2-1 defeat against Stoke City in the last match.
The Red Devils are struggling horribly under David Moyes and are lying 7th in the league, seven points behind 4th placed Liverpool. Their title ambition is all but over and now they have a serious fight on hand to secure the fourth position in the league.
Ahead of the match, Moyes spoke to the media today and gave an injury update with the latest on the fitness of Phil Jones, Marouane Fellaini and Jonny Evans.
Evans was forced off against Stoke City early in the match with calf problems and has been ruled out for this game. However, defender Phil Jones, who suffered concussion following a clash of heads with Jonathan Walters, has trained with the squad and could play some part.
Moyes will have to continue without the services of Fellaini as the Belgian’s comeback is further delayed due to groin injury that will him out for possibly another week. Here is the possible starting line-up of Manchester United.
Prediction: 2-1; Man Utd have won their last 11 home matches against Fulham in all competitions and though Moyes has been breaking all records, expect the Red Devils to earn full three points on Sunday.
