Manchester United will entertain Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday looking to win back to back league matches for the first time this season.

David Moyes has no major injury concern for this tie but some of the players have returned with slight knocks and their fitness will be assessed before the game.

“Sometimes you get the international break on the back of a bad result and sometimes off a good result. We went into it with a good result,” said Moyes.

“It’s always a concern, especially when you have so many players away like we do. I’ll monitor training, one or two are nursing knocks so we’ll need to look at it but hopefully they will be okay.”

In the defence, Moyes should continue with Jonny Evans and Nemanja Vidic at the centre-back while Chris Smalling could start on the right-back role.

Tom Cleverely complained about sore calf last week and missed England’s two crucial World Cup Qualifiers against Montenegro and Poland. Expect, Michael Carrick to partner Marouane Fellaini at the centre of the midfield.

Shinji Kagawa has voiced his frustration again of not getting enough game time at Old Trafford. The diminutive Japanese could get a starting berth, as Moyes stated in the press conference that young Adnan Januzaj would not start regularly, despite having the potential.

Prediction: It will be a difficult game as we have seen Southmptom upsetting Liverpool at Anfield earlier in the season, but expect the Red Devils to win at home, 2-0.
