What a great game of football we are having so far. It is half time now, and Liverpool are leading by 2-1.
The Reds took the early lead when Coutinho poked the ball in from close range from a Steven Gerrard corner. Everton quickly equalized through Kevin Mirallas, who took the advantage of a poor defending from Liverpool.
Liverpool went back in front again when talisman Luis Suarez scored a wonderful goal from free-kick. With that goal, he becomes the top scorer of Liverpool for this season.
However, the central talking point of the match so far was the poor decision by the ref Phil Dowd. Mirallas tackled high on Suarez that should have been given a Red and the Belgian is very very lucky to stay on the pitch.
