Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez has provided a concrete proof that it was indeed Manchester United, who were responsible for the failed transfer of David De Gea this summer.
After the move collapsed, Manchester United came out swinging, claiming that the Old Trafford outfit are extremely careful about their transfer business and all documents are handled with the utmost attention.
Real Madrid followed suit as the blame game went on. However, the Los Blancos have now produced a damning proof that Manchester United sent the documents late, which meant that the Spanish outfit could not register De Gea in time with the LFP.
President Florentino Perez revealed a copy of the documents with the time stamp in them.
It will be interesting to see how David De Gea settles in at United this season, after all the speculations and frosty reception he has received all summer.
The Spaniard is set for showdown talks with Louis Van Gaal this week and has been given a 48 hour window to demonstrate his fitness and focus ahead of the high octane clash against, Liverpool.
Earlier Marca reported that De Gea is relaxed about his future at United and is confident that the balance of power remains in his favour.
The player is also rumoured to be willing to sign a new deal this season.
