Liverpool have confirmed they have completed the signing of Nigeria Under -23 striker Taiwo Awoniyi on Monday.
After completed a move to Anfield, the 18-year-old has left the Merseyside club and joined 2 Bundesliga side FSV Frankfurt on loan.

A statement on Liverpool’s official website read, ” Liverpool Football Club have confirmed the signing of Taiwo Awoniyi. The 18-year-old joins the Reds having previously represented Imperial Academy in Nigeria.”
Awoniyi is on cloud nine after managing to join the Reds and says he is joining “one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
“This is the biggest club in the world and I’m privileged to be here. I’ll try to develop myself very well so that when I come back to Liverpool I’ll be able to add value to the team. When I’m in the red shirt, I will always give my very best to make the fans happy,” the Nigerian striker said.
