Premier League, 2015-16

Time: 12:45 BST
Venue: Carrow Road, Norwich

Where to watch: BT Sport 1

Liverpool will be looking to close the gap on the top four over the next few weeks with favourable Premier League fixtures, and you can get enhanced odds on them winning on this weekend.

Jürgen Klopp’s side are currently eight points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur following their 1-0 loss at home to Manchester United last Sunday.  However, a trip to Norwich City this weekend is followed up by games against Leicester City (away), Sunderland (home) and Aston Villa (away) before the Merseyside derby in the league.

The Reds have won nine of their last 11 Premier League matches against Norwich City, including their last five at Carrow Road.  They have even amassed 22 goals in their last six versus the Canaries, though 12 of these have been scored by the departed Luis Suárez.

Norwich City start the weekend only two points above the relegation zone and out of form having lost their last three in all competitions and conceding exactly three goals in each of those games.

Alex Neil could hand a debut to new £8.5 million signing Steven Naismith who arrived from Everton earlier in the week.

Team News

Klopp continues to be without centre-backs Martin Škrtel and Dejan Lovren, so Kolo Touré and Mamadou Sakho will continue their partnership in defence.

Jon Flanagan made his long-awaited return from injury in the FA Cup replay win over Exeter City during the week.  The young right-back is not expected to displace Nathaniel Clyne this weekend though, with the former Saint playing ever minute in the league so far this season.

Philippe Coutinho remains sidelined but the Reds boss has the remainder of his midfield available and potentially some youngsters pushing for a place on the substitutes bench following their performances in the FA Cup.

Daniel Sturridge is still not ready to make his return and is joined by fellow strikers Danny Ings and Divock Origi on the injured list.  Whilst Christian Benteke is available, Roberto Firmino is expected to remain up front.
