Spanish champions Barcelona have announced their agreement with Brazilian forward Neymar over a new contract. The 24-year-old forward has signed a new deal with the Catalan giants until at least 2021.
The agreement has been confirmed by the La Liga club on their official website as well as their Twitter account.

Neymar joined Barcelona back in 2013 from Santos and has been a regular member of the first-team squad since then. The South American has scored 90 goals in 149 appearances for the La Liga giants so far and finished third in the Balon d’Or rankings behind Messi and Ronaldo in the last two seasons.
Widely regarded as the third best player in the world right now, Neymar has finally ended all speculations surrounding his future at Barcelona. The Camp Nou faithful will be delighted with the news as Neymar is expected to take over from Messi as the best player in the world, in the near future.
Neymar was being linked with a move to the Premier League over the last few months and according to the report from Daily Mirror, Manchester United were interested in his services. During the summer transfer window, United’s interest in Neymar was widely reported by several media outlets. Back then the rumours claimed that Mourinho wanted to sign him at all costs.
Recently Barcelona agreed on a new contract with Mascherano as well. The likes of Luis Suarez could be offered new terms, too. Barcelona are currently trailing behind arch rivals Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid in the title race and will be hoping to close the gap when they take on Valencia this weekend.
