Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is lining up a move for Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez.
The former Tenerife forward is highly rated in the game and is considered as one of the best young attacking talents in the Premier League.
Perez joined Newcastle in 2014 and has scored some crucial goals for the Toons since then. However Newcastle’s poor form and the lack of quality forwards in the league has forced the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United to look at the likes of Perez.
Although Perez is not quite ready to step into a title challenging team yet, Van Gaal is understood to be willing to bet on the youngster according to Fichajes.
The report states that Van Gaal rates Perez’ ability as a player and is willing bet on a bright future for the player at Manchester United.
Newcastle have been abysmal form this season and are in need of some fresh faces in January. If Manchester United come up with a reasonable offer there is no reason why Mike Ashley will not consider selling Ayoze Perez.
Furthermore, the player could push for a move as well if the interest in genuine. The chance to play for a club like Manchester United do not come around too often, especially when you are only 22 and still learning the game.
