Liverpool have been dealt a huge pursuit in their pursuit of Fiorentina goalkeeper who has reportedly agreed terms to join Juventus in the summer. The Brazilian shot stopper was heavily linked with Liverpool over the last couple of months but Juventus have won the race for the 25 year old.

Gianluca Di Marzio have confirmed that Neto will join the Bianconeri on a free transfer in the summer. The goalkeeper’s contract with the Florence based club is set to expire in the summer and will stay there till the end of the season.
The report also states that Juventus were working to bring Neto to Turin in January itself but both the clubs failed to reach an agreement. Thus Neto will switch loyalties in the summer.
For Liverpool, it’s a massive blow as they will now have to look elsewhere to sign a goalkeeper who can challenge the erring Simon Mignolet for the number one role at the Anfield side.
