Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has been linked with a transfer away from the London club this summer.

Previously, the Serbian was linked with a move to Old Trafford as soon as Jose Mourinho took over.

Now the player is being linked with a move to Italy as Juventus look to replace Paul Pogba.

Apparently, Matic is restless about his situation at Chelsea and wants assurances from the new manager Antonio Conte if he is stay.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the player is set for showdown talks with the Italian manager soon and if he is not satisfied with the outcome, then a transfer to Italy is possible.

The report adds that a deal for Matic should cost Juventus 30 million Euros and the Italian champions are hoping for some good news as the player prepares himself for a vital conversation with Conte.

Losing Matic would be a major blow for Chelsea, even though they have signed the Leicester City defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante.

Recently, Conte claimed that Matic is vital to his style of play and the player knows that. Chelsea fans will be hoping that a one on one conversation with the boss can persuade their star midfielder to snub a move to Juventus.
