Alvaro Morata sets transfer condition for Manchester United

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has been linked with a move away from Serie A this summer. The Spaniard is a target for Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Morata previously claimed that Italy might not be the ideal place for strikers and that Bundesliga and the Premier League would suit his style very well.

The Spaniard has fallen down the pecking order at Juventus since the arrival of Dybala and wants to leave in order to get regular first team football. Last month, there were reports that Morata prefers a move to Manchester United because of the appointment of Jose Mourinho.

The Spanish international is likely to cost around 40 million pounds and the fee will not be an issue for Manchester United or Jose Mourinho. However, the player has now set a transfer condition which might make the deal tricky for Manchester United.

Apparently, Morata will not join the Old Trafford outfit if Ibrahimovic joins them. The Spaniard is not keen on sitting on the bench and will therefore join Manchester United only if they make him their first choice striker.

Mourinho is thought to be keen on signing Ibrahimovic this summer and that could end their chances of landing Morata.

It will be interesting to see what happens now. Arsenal can offer him what he wants, but at United and Chelsea, the likes of Costa, Rooney are likely to play ahead of him.
