Pachuca winger Hirving Lozano has already started studying English with a hope that it would help him in the future, if he gets an opportunity to play in the Premier League.

The 20-year-old has reportedly been on Manchester United’s radar and the player had earlier admitted that he would join the Red Devils after this summer’s Olympics in Brazil‘s capital next month.

“I’m studying,” Lozano said, when asked whether he is learning English.

On the recent reports linking him with a move to United, Lozano remains unsure if the 20-time English champions will make a move for his services. Amid recent reports linking the attacker to Old Trafford, he admitted that he remains focused on his progress at Pachuca.

“I do not know that. Hopefully today or tomorrow, then on another day, I do not know,” the winger added.

“I am now concentrated in Pachuca , is very nice that people are saying those things, hopefully it itself has [an offer].”

Lozano was a part of the Mexico squad in the recently concluded Copa America Centenario in the United States, where he saw his side suffered a 7-0 defeat at the hands of eventual winners Chile in the quarter-final.

Meanwhile, Pachuca manager Diego Alonso has urged Lozano to focus on his current employers after revealing there has been “absolutely nothing” in regards to the reports suggesting that United have made an offer.

“I am very calm because I know he has spoken with club officials. He spoke with [president] Jesus Martinez and they explained to him the reality of the situation,” Alonso said, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.

“And the reality is that today he must be fully focused on Pachuca because there is absolutely nothing [with United],” Alonso told reporters, as quoted by Univision.

“Logically there is going to be interest but there have been no offers. If we get an offer he will be the first to know it, but we plan for El Chucky to be with us throughout the rest of the season.”
