Earlier this week, Depay has spoken with Van Gaal and revealed his desire to join Manchester United in the summer.
The 21-year-old enjoys a good working relationship with Van Gaal, which turned out to be the deciding factor in selecting his new club. He has been given permission to speak directly with other clubs. PSV are asking an asking price of €25m, and reports suggest that United are willing to pay that amount.
