Manchester United have manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed Angel Di Maria will return to action against Aston Villa.
The Argentine international picked up a hamstring injury against Hull City clash at Old Trafford and since then he has missed three matches against Stoke City, Southampton and Liverpool.
“Angel Di Maria is getting close to full fitness and could be on the bench for tomorrow’s game at Aston Villa,” Van Gaal confirmed.

The return of Di Maria to the squad could will me a massive boost for Van Gaal and United. Also, the former Real Madrid’s pace will be an advantage when United visit Villa Park on Saturday.
The Red Devils have won last six league matches on a trot and that includes victories over Arsenal and Liverpool. This has seen United move to third place in the Premier League table with 31 points from 16 games – eight points behind league leaders Chelsea.
However, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manger believes United can still improve as the Dutchman is still looking for a perfect win.
