Manchester United. Gareth Bale. Transfer rumours. It doesn’t need any further introduction. That’s why I have decided to keep this post short and to the point.
Yesterday, Spanish newspaper AS published a story on Bale’s future, where they claimed United would be willing to spend over €120m for the Welsh winger. The player who has struggled badly this season has even asked Real Madrid whether they would allow him to join United in the summer.
Despite all the floating rumours in the media, Real Madrid camp are pretty confident that Bale would stay at the club. Los Blancos have invested huge money on him and the winger would be given time to fulfil his talent at the Bernabeu.
AS claim today that won’t sell Bale because the highest offer they’ve got is around €65m, meaning they’d be losing money considering they spent over €100m on him. The newspaper claim Manchester United are not willing to pay more than €65m for Bale (understandable given the season he has had) but Madrid, who consider Bale as ‘untouchable’ consider the offer as way below their valuation.
