Manchester United need reinforcement in the January transfer window. This is a general consensus among the fans. David Moyes, would have understood by now that Marouane Fellaini is probably not the solution to solve his midfield problems, so expect the Scot to go for another central midfielder in the January.
Likewise, there is a concern for central defence as well. Rio Ferdinand could retire at the end of the season and there’s a need to find a long term replacement of the former Leeds United defender.
So, here are three ideal signings Moyes would want in the January transfer window.
Koke – The Atletico Madrid midfielder is the just the type Manchester United need. He is a creative central midfielder who is highly gifted technically. The best thing about him is his versatility. He can play on the wings as well, playing as a false winger, if needed.
Ezequiel Garay – The Argentine is a long term target for the Red Devils and at 27 he is at the prime of his career. He has leadership qualities at the back and will certainly bolster the defence to a huge extent.
Angel Di Maria – Manchester United are probably the only Premier League club in England where wingers have been given so much importance throughout their history. This is one area where current crop hasn’t performed well. Nani, Ashley Young and Wilfried Zaha are huge disappointments, while Adnan Januzaj is still very raw. So, a quality winger like Di Maria would be ideal for the Red Devils.
