Manchester United are 1.25 shots to beat West Brom at Old Trafford it really should be a case of how many they put past the Baggies.

They have won nine and lost none of the 11 Premier League meetings with Roy Hodgson’s side, who to be fair come into this on the back of a good run of results and have lost just one of their last seven games on the road.

However United have won 38 and lost just three of their last 43 PL games at home, and have a trio players who have a terrific record of netting against West Brom.

The evergreen Paul Scholes has scored four in six appearances against them, Rooney has bagged three in his last four, and Chicharito has scored in both starts.

They are 12 (bet365),  4 (bet365), 4.5 (Betfred, Boylesports) respectively to net the opener, but for me a better bet has to be Rooney to score anytime.

He is on fire at the moment and has scored seven goals in his last four appearances, so at 1.66 with bet365 looks a more attractive wager than backing United in the outright market.

Also given that United didn’t play at their best but still managed to score three in their victory over Spurs I think we can expect plenty of goals in this.

Over 2.5 looks a gimme at 1.53 with Boylesports, with most firms going just 1.51.
