United have had a stuttering start to their new campaign while new manager David Moyes is already feeling heat. The Red Devils have yet to win against any potential big team, and suffered an ignominious 4-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad.

Liverpool on the other hand have started the season brilliantly winning the first three matches on the trot, however, they suffered their first defeat in the last match, losing out 1-0 at the hands of Southampton at Anfield.

Team News

Manchester United will be without Robin van Persie for this game as well. The Dutchman, who missed the last game against City, has been suffering from a groin injury and is yet to recover fully. In his absence, forgotten man of United, Javier Hernandez could lead the attacking line.

Moyes would be looking to make few changes in the squad. Marouane Fellaini is cup-tied, so Tom Cleverley will be expected to take the midfield role alongside Michael Carrick. Jonny Evans and Rafael could get a game too while Shinji Kagawa and Nani might be recalled.

Liverpool would welcome back Luis Suarez to the squad, after the Uruguayan finally returns from his 10-match suspension. In the defence, Daniel Agger will miss out, while young Andre Wisdom could be drafted in on the right-back role.

Key Man

Luis Suarez – Who Else? The maverick star looks happy again after enduring a tormenting summer and the Uruguayan is all set to torment United defenders tonight.

Also, in absence of Van Persie, all eyes will be on Wayne Rooney. The England star has been in sensational form, scoring four goals already this season.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-2 Liverpool
