Manchester United will be looking for some redemption after a disappointing few weeks when they take on the Russian outfit CSKA Moscow in the Champions League tomorrow.
After a 1-1 draw in Moscow last month, Louis Van Gaal will be hoping for better luck in front of goal in the reverse fixture. Manchester United have drawn all of their last four games in all competitions, three of which were 0-0s.
Despite the return of Wayne Rooney, Louis Van Gaal’s men have struggled in front of goal and are heavily reliant on their new signing Anthony Martial. However, since Van Gaal decided to use Martial as a winger in order to accommodate his captain Wayne Rooney, the goals have dried up.
Meanwhile, CSKA Moscow are in a bit of a slump themselves and have won just two of their last five games in all competitions. CSKA are well aware of Manchester United’s attacking weaknesses and will know that they have a chance of getting something from the game if they can score.
The likes of Ahmed Musa, Zoran Tosic and Doumbia have enough quality to terrorize Manchester United’s well drilled back four.
