Champions League, 2015-16
Date: Wednesday, 28 October, Wednesday
Time: 20:00 BST

In the last five meetings between these two clubs, Boro has not managed to beat the Red Devils. Out of these fixture, three were played at Old Trafford and United scored eight goals and conceded only two in the process.
With Louis van Gaal’s side very strong with defence, it is unlikely the Premier League outfit will leak goals in the fourth round of the Cpaital One Cup. At home, they have been very impressive as they conceded only one goal in the league, which came during their 3-1 victory over Liverpool.
Aitor Karanka’s side will have a tough task to break United’s resilience when they face them during the midweek. He will have to balance his side in terms of both attack and defence.
United have struggled to win as they registered only one win in four matches played in all compeititons. In the last two fixtures, the settled for a draw, which includes a goalless draw against their local rivals Manchester City.
On the other hand, Boro went on without a win in three matches and registered a 3-1 win over Wolves in the last tie. Their goalscoring form will be a concern for Jose Mourinho’s former assistant as they scored six goals in the last five matches.
