Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is all set to join Bayer Leverkusen before the transfer window shuts down. The Mexican striker was spotted at the German club ahead of his medical.

According to reports from Sky Sports, a deal is close to being struck for a reported fee in the region of £9m. Although no official agreement has reached yet, but we can fairly guess, it is at the advanced level, a reason why Hernandez has travelled all the way to Germany for his medical.

Hernandez spent last season on loan To Real Madrid where he scored nine goals in 33 appearances for Los Blancos.

Real Madrid weren’t willing to convert his loan move to a permanent deal, so Hernandez had to return to Old Trafford.

He has played three times for United this season, and has featured in the Champions League against Club Brugge.

The 27-year-old needs his finish his medical and the paper works has to be completed by 6pm today in line with the closure of the German transfer window.
