According to reports in Italian daily Gazzetta Dello Sport, Manchester United are willing to offer Juventus €60m for Arturo Vidal, an offer that might be too high for the Serie A Champions to refuse. Although new manager Massimiliano Allegri would like to keep his midfield maestro, the Red Devils’ offer for the Chilean finally might be too enticing to turn down.

The story claims that the English giants are willing to offer a salary of €8m per season, a figure which is double the wages what the player he receives at Turin. It is believed that Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich is set to hold talks with Juventus Director Giuseppe Marotta this week, where the two will be speaking on Vidal’s current contract situation.

Juevntus have made it very clear that they don’t want to part with their prized asset but the old Lady can’t match the wages what the Red Devils are willing to offer. Moreover, in hindsight the whopping offer if accepted, will also enable Allegri to sign a world class player as they the Italian side desperate to mount a Champions League challenge after winning the Serie A for three times in a row under Antonio Conte.
