According to reports in Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Manchester United are preparing a final €50m offer for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal. The Serie A champions however have made it clear that they don’t want to part ways with the Chilean midfielder.
Czech legend Pavel Nedved who is now one of the directors of the Turin club had said that the Old Lady will do anything to keep their best players.
“Anyone who thinks Antonio Conte resigned due to the transfer strategy is wrong. Our plan is clear: we want to keep all our best players, including Vidal and Pogba.”
“We don’t want to sell anyone, especially not Vidal. Of course, if a particularly high offer arrived then we’d have to think about it, but we don’t want to sell our champions.”
The Red Devils however aren’t giving up as of yet and it is believed that the Premier League giants will table a en enticing offer worth €43m plus €8m on bonuses. The Old Trafford side has also proposed the Chilean with a €6.7m annual salary.
A ray of hope for United: New manager Massimiliano Allegri is fully aware of what is in store as he takes charge of Juventus, the club who had a financial loss overall last season despite their domestic success on the field. Thus a fresh influx of money would be handful, but will it come at a cost of parting ways with their midfield maestro?
