According to reports in the English media, Manchester United are ready to let go of former Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes.
The Spaniard moved to Old Trafford last season on a 18 month deal and has already fallen out of favour at his new club. After making just one appearance last season, it appears that Valdes is surplus at Old Trafford.
Valencia and Antalyaspor are ready to make a move for the top quality Spain international and it is believed that Manchester United would not stand in the way of a move regardless of whether De Gea stays or not.
Further Brazilian Rafael has also been told that he has no future at the club and should look for another club.
Following the signing of Matteo Darmian, Rafael has fallen further down the pecking order and will need a move to revitalise his stagnating career.
Both Valdes and Rafael have been omitted from Manchester United’s US tour and the duo are likely to prepare for a move away now.
Manchester United are also expected to move for a striker and a centre back now with Sergio Ramos and Robert Lewandowski being the key targets for Louis Van Gaal.
Although Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are unwilling to sell, United certainly have the resources to convince them.
