Shinji Kagawa is inching closer to joining his former club Borussia Dortmund. We have covered two earlier reports from Germany, where it claimed the Japanese may undergo a medical tonight before completing his move.
Kagawa joined Manchester United in 2012 from Dortmund but failed to live up to the expectations at Old Trafford but has cut a sorrow figure in his last two seasons. Bild reported earlier that Dortmund can sign him for €10m.
Reliable German newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten has a latest update on the story. The claim that Dortmund’s “prodigal son” is close to joining the club, with his agent Thomas Kroth having already arrived in Dortmund and he is sorting out the release procedures. The transfer could be completed within tomorrow.
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has claimed today that he expects few transfers (both ins and out) in the next few days.
