Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the last few months and it seems they are finally close to landing the PSG striker.
Ibrahimovic is out of contract this summer and has already made it clear that he will not renew at the French capital and wants a new adventure for next season.
Recent reports claimed that Ibrahimovic is a priority signing for the new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho. The Red Devils are in need of a goalscorer and Mourinho wants to solve that issue right away with the signing of Ibrahimovic.
According to the very reliable RMC Sport, Manchester United have now made their move last month and offered Zlatan a one-year contract with the option of extension for another year.
Now Guardian are reporting that Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has reached an agreement with Manchester United regarding his client’s wages. Now that the personal terms are sorted, the Old Trafford outfit need to agree a sign on fee with his agent before the deal can be completed.
Raiola is in France now and according to Guardian’s report, a deal can’t be completed this week.
Zlatan would be a magnificient addition for any team in world football. He scored 50 goals with the French champions Paris Saint-Germain last season.
