Manchester City’s Champions League implosion continued with a 2-1 defeat at home to Juventus.
Despite putting on a bright performance, the home side struggled to capitalise on their chances and were pegged back by the Italian champions.
City took the lead in the second half, thanks to an own goal from Giorgio Chiellini.
The likes of Sterling and Bony had bug chances to double the lead, but the Citizens failed to kill the game.
After a fantastic double save from Gianluigi Buffon, Juventus equalised through Mario Mandzukic. The Croatian scored from close range after a magnificient cross from Paul Pogba.
Juventus scored the winning goal 10 minutes from time when their big game player, Alvaro Morata curled one in with his weak foot, from outside of the box.
Morata’s outrageous strike stunned the Premier League leaders and once again underlined the lack of European pedigree in the current set of English teams.
Without further delay, here are the goals from the Manchester City vs Juventus game.
