Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic scored a wonderful header as the Red Devils managed a 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final at Old Trafford.
Bayern enjoyed the lion’s share of possession, while United mostly relied on sharp counter attacks.
After a 0-0 opening half, Vidic gave United the lead with a guided header that left Neuer with no chance at the far post.
With 13 clearances and two tackles, he was by far the best player for the Red Devils tonight along with Michael Carrick. Manchester United fans took Twitter to share their feelings on Vidic, who will leave the club for Inter Milan at the end of the season.
