Manchester United are still interested, still, in Dutch midfield maestro Wesley Sneijder. According to French media outlet Le 10 Sport, the Red Devils could make an offer for the former Real Madrid star in the January transfer window.
In October, Dutch national coach, Loius Van Gaal insisted that Chelsea remain interested in landing Sneijder and the 29-year-old could re-kindle his relationship with Jose Mourinho. He further opined that Sneijder should leave Galatasaray and join Chelsea.
However, the Dutch midfielder had dismissed talk of a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea insisting he was happy in Turkey and not looking for a move in the Premier League.
The Express also reported in October that Manchester United are set to test Galatasary’s resolve with a £12m offer. And now, Turkish newspaper Sabah claims that Manchester United manager David Moyes has openly admitted interest in Sneijder and could offer €2.5m plus either of Nani and Valencia.
Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas insisted last month goal scoring issue is not a problem for his team but with only 9 goals this campaign so far, indeed there are reasons to worry about.
The Portuguese wants to solve his goal scoring problems by bringing in Real Madrid starlet Alvaro Morata on a loan deal, as per the report. Villas-Boas wanted to buy the 21-year-old as a part of deal that saw Gareth Bale joining Madrid for world record transfer fee of £85m.
Initially Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was unwilling to send Morata on loan but the Italian has changed his heart and feels it will help the Spain Under-21 international’s career. It is understood that Villas-Boas is personally trying to convince the youngster to join the White Hart Lane in January.
