According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid are exploring the possibility of a player plus cash deal for Manchester United keeper, David De Gea.
David De Gea has been linked with a move to Real Madrid all summer and the Los Blancos are keen to complete the deal before the window shuts.
Despite the strong interest, Real Madrid are unwilling to pay the 40 million Euros asking price for De Gea and want to offer a player to sweeten the deal.
According to reports, Real Madrid are keen to offer Keylor Navas as a makeweight for the Spaniard.
Louis Van Gaal has previously shown interest in Navas and Real Madrid are hoping to use it to their advantage.
De Gea is desperate for a move to Real Madrid and has refused to play for Manchester United this season.
It is believed that the player’s agent Jorge Mendes is in town to sort out a transfer before the window closes. Manchester United are resigned to losing their best player and are keen to recoup everything they can for their prized asset.
United started the window well with the signings of Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger and Darmian, but have lost Angel Di Maria and are set to lose De Gea as well.
Furthermore, they have also missed out on the likes of Pedro and Otamendi to Chelsea and Manchester City.
