Liverpool academy winger Sergi Canos has extended his loan spell with Brentford until May 2016.
The highly rated attacker has impressed for the Championship outfit and will continue his development at Griffin Park for the rest of this season.
Canos joined Brentford at the end of August and his loan was due to end at the start of 2016, but the two clubs have agreed on an extension and the move will go through when the Transfer Window opens on January 2nd.
Canos arrived at Liverpool from La Masia and can operate in a number of attacking positions. The Spaniard can play as a wide forward or as a striker.
The young forward has attracted a lot of praise from the Brentford manager due to his explosive and direct style of play. Furthermore, the youngster has also impressed with his attitude and willingness to learn.
After agreeing on a deal to extend his loan spell, Canos tweeted about his delight.

Along with the likes of Harry Wilson and Pedro Chirivella, Canos is seen as a premium talent on Merseyside and is expected to break into the first team setup within the next few years.
