Liverpool defeated Fulham 3-2 on Wednesday night at the Craven Cottage and consolidated their fourth position in the Premier League.
After earning a scintillating 5-1 victory over Arsenal the previous match, the Reds needed to maintain the momentum and build on that with another strong result. They were forced to go down behind twice in the match, but in the end a Steven Gerrard penalty helped the Reds secure full three points.
One of the key factors of Liverpool’s success so far this season has been the form of Daniel Sturridge. The England international has scored 30 goals in 37 appearances for the Reds since joining last January and has become the first Liverpool player to score in 7 successive appearances since the inception of the Premier League.
He was on target yesterday as well and Liverpool fans took twitter to let their feelings know about the former Chelsea striker. We bring here some of those tweets for you:
#Sturridge – first ever #LFC player to score in 7 successive appearances since the inception of the Premier League. Money well-spent I say.

When’s #Sturridge gonna get the credit he deserves in the media? Goals v arsenal, united (2), Chelsea, City, Everton (3). 26 in 32 for #lfc
