Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Polish central midfielder Piotr Zielinski.

The Udinese midfielder is on loan at Empoli this season and has attracted a lot of interest from several European clubs with his splendid performances this season.

New Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of the Polish star and is looking to sign him during the summer transfer window.

Recently, the highly reliable Liverpool Echo also confirmed Liverpool’s interest in the player.

Now reports in Italian media (via Sportwitness) state that Udinese are set to demand 15 million Euros for Zielinski and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool agree to pay the fee or not.

Zielinski is a creative central midfielder who specialises in link up play and carving out defences with his movement and passes. The Polish midfielder has 4 goals and 6 assists to his name this season and has been likened to the Arsenal star Santi Cazorla in terms of his style of play.

Liverpool could definitely do with a creative midfielder and the arrival of Zielinski would certainly add more quality to Klopp’s midfield for next season.
